In comparison to its size, Sri Lanka can boast of one of the largest collections of waterfalls in a single country. For an island of just over 65 thousand square kilometers the density of waterfalls is incredibly high. There are close to 500 waterfalls and most of them concentrated in the hill country of the island. The tallest is the Bambarakande Falls which cascades down a precipice to a depth of 263 meters. Only a few of these waterfalls can be viewed with ease while most need to be discovered after exploring the thick dense forest cover of Sri Lanka.
Below is a compilation of some waterfalls which can either be easily accessed or discovered after a little bit of trekking. During this 11 day tour the districts of Ratnapura, Badulla, Nuwara Eliya, Kandy and Matale will be explored.

Meet and Greet at Airport and transfer to Colombo. Your guide will brief you about the tour that you will be undertaking for the next 11 days. If time permits explore the city of Colombo by doing a brief city tour. Overnight in Colombo

Pass through the Victoria Falls with which the famous Victoria reservoir has been submerged. Undertake a city tour ofthis beautiful city including the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha. In the evening watch a cultural performance by traditional Kandvan dancers and drummers.
