Kalpitiya to Host ‘Wild Collective’ Festival for 2nd Time
A stunning location is a powerful ingredient for a successful event. Kitesurfing Lanka (KSL) located in Kandakuliya, Kalpitya, the largest and oldest kitesurfing location in the area, provides just that as host of the second Wild Collective Festival to be held April 3rd, 4th and 5th, 2020.
This unique festival is held in a pristine location between lagoon and beach and combines elements of local and foreign live bands, DJs, art, food, culture and environmental awareness. The 2020 line up will be announced shortly.
Attendees can indulge in yoga, sculpture and art workshops, and massage and tattoo sessions while enjoying vegan and health food in a totally chilled out ambience.
The 2019 Wild Collective attracted around 200 attendees including some 30 nationalities. It’s also an animal and child friendly event. Camping facilities are available with a ‘bring your own tent’ concept.
Resorts, guesthouses and home stays in the area will benefit from the 3-day Wild Collective event as guests flock to the area.
Wild Collective is organized by Kitesurfing Lanka and Kite House Café, two leading destinations in Kalpitiya.
As Festival co-organiser Keira Perera stated last year, ‘The journey to an event in a wild and beautiful place is part of the adventure.’
